Find Yourself in the Amazon Rainforest

Mishki Taki Center of Amazonian Natural Medicine is in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon just outside Pucallpa, Peru. Located at the home of curandero Lucho Romero and his family, we are dedicated to providing a caring and supportive space for you in your work with ayahuasca and natural medicine.

Why come to Mishki Taki?

Get to know the Peruvian people

Mishki Taki is a working healing center serving the local community and we welcome visitors who wish to join us. When you come for a workshop you enjoy a homestay with Lucho and his family and meet local people who come for healing services. You will see how traditional Amazonian medicine works up close and personal.

We live in Pucallpa and we are active members of the community. There are interesting things to see and do, and while we are out and about you’ll meet our friends and family and develop a better understanding of the life here on the edge of the Amazon rainforest.

Powerful medicine and gentle healing

Working with ayahuasca can sometimes be very difficult but it doesn’t need to be traumatic. Ceremony at Mishki Taki is strong but we are all about love, peace, happiness and health, and we provide a gentle and supportive space where you can feel comfortable going through the rough stuff. When its over it is smiles and laughter and hugs. You will feel the love.

Small groups and personal attention

Ceremonies at the center are limited to 8 guests plus local patients. Working with ayahuasca and plant medicines is serious work, and we try to make sure that you receive as much personal attention as you need. Private consultation and treatment is scheduled as required, and we are around to answer questions to help you get the most from your work.
